1993
Foundation
Sandra Pauleti builds the first systems. Guga handles clients and business. To track the team's internal hours, SGP is born — the system that would outlast everything that followed.
1998
The HR pivot
The founders of Across Futuros Convergentes see in Seeker the capability to solve a real problem: a growing volume of résumés and no tools to manage them. The first candidate tracking and job management system is born — before ATS was even a concept in Brazil.
2003
eRecruit & engage
Trainee and internship programs posed a singular challenge: thousands of candidates competing for a handful of spots, requiring rigorous evaluation at scale. Seeker already mastered résumé screening — and as the internet transformed selection processes, the next step became clear. eRecruit expanded with online assessments, and engage was born to close the loop, bringing competency and performance evaluations into the same platform.
2003–2015
Consolidation
For over a decade, Seeker establishes itself as one of the leading HR technology providers in Brazil. Large national and multinational groups rely on eRecruit and engage to select and evaluate people at scale: Carrefour, JBS, Cielo, Ambev, Decathlon, BRF, Danone, Ford, Natura, Santander. Over 3 million résumés processed. Over 1 million assessments completed.
2014
Remote work — before it was a trend
Seeker adopts remote work in 2014 — years before the world was forced to discover the model. The decision proved its value twice over: it prepared the team for the 2020 lockdown with no loss of pace, and laid the groundwork for operating seamlessly between São Paulo and the US office.
2015
Going international
Accepted into the University of Central Florida incubator in Orlando. From there, we founded our US office — which remains active to this day. Seeker had gone international.
2016
engage acquired by Mereo
Mereo, a people management platform, acquires engage. A direct recognition of the value of the product Seeker built over more than a decade.
2018
New horizons
The expertise built at Seeker opens doors in new sectors. Sandra brings her technology vision to education; Guga leads digital transformation projects in industry. The same skills that powered products for multinationals prove their value well beyond the original market.
2025
AI at the core
With AI rewriting what's possible, Seeker repositions. SGP gets a new stack with AI built in at the core and is relaunched for any business whose product is the team's knowledge. The philosophy doesn't change: AI proposes. Engineers decide.
